Artist Statement:
My work reflects my personal growth and highlights important changes in society. I create paintings by considering how I perceive energy in different spaces. Using color playfully is crucial; my colors, shaped by organic and geometric forms, express my feelings about the world and inspire how I hope others will engage with it. Although my paintings may look different, I use a consistent process with acrylic paint on canvas. I also include embroidery, adding fabric or attaching the canvas to wire. The wire frames my art. Through my paintings, I explore the mind and redefine surreal abstraction today. My work shows how paintings can deepen, challenge, or imitate experiences beyond the ordinary, as these environments go beyond reality.
